Privacy

We are pleased that you are visiting our website and thank you for your interest in our company. When using our website, data protection and data security are absolutely important to us. We would like to inform you in the following rules and regulations about the main principles concerning personal data we collect when you visit our website and for what purposes it is used.

Data Processing Principles

Personal data is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes your name, age, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, IP address or user behaviour. Information that we cannot link to your person, e.g. by anonymising the information, is no personal data. The processing of personal data (e.g. the collection, retrieval, use, storage or transmission) always requires a legal basis or your consent. Processed personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of the processing has been achieved and there are no longer any statutory retention obligations to be complied with.

Use of Personal Data

If personal data is used on our website, it is used exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the Austrian Data Protection Act 2000 (DSG 2000) and the Decree of DSG2000. Detailed information on the Data Protection Act 2000 can be found on the website of the data protection authority or under Complete legal regulation for the Data Protection Act 2000, for the Decree of DSG2000 here: Information on the GDPR (Die Datenschutzgrundverordnung – Your Europe (europa.eu))

Withdrawal of Consent

Consent to the processing of personal data and to the sending of information messages can be revoked at any time. The revocation can be communicated at any time in writing to the e-mail address given in the imprint, stating the first name, surname and e-mail address. In the event of revocation of consent to the processing of personal data or to the sending of information messages and in the event of deletion of a profile, all personal data will be irrevocably deleted unless there is a legal necessity to continue processing this data.

Right to Information, Rectification and Deletion

On written request to the e-mail address given in the legal notice, we will be pleased to provide information about the data we have stored about someone. However, in order to avoid misuse, we must ask you to identify yourself in an appropriate form, for example by presenting a copy of a valid photo ID. This is necessary to prevent unauthorised persons from gaining access to other, third-party data by pretending to be someone else under the guise of a request for information.

If you notice that certain data is not stored correctly or is incorrect, we will correct it upon written request to the e-mail address given in the legal notice, provided that the correction is necessary for further (correct) use of the website or the services provided by it.

If personal data is stored on the basis of consent and if there is otherwise no legal reason and no legal obligation to store the data (e.g. in the context of legal proceedings), we will delete the data immediately after the consent has been withdrawn.

SSL Respectively TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Use of automatically generated data / server log files

Every time our website is accessed and every time files made available by our web server are retrieved, certain technical data is stored. However, this data is only stored in pseudonymised (indirectly personal) form, so that it is not possible to draw conclusions about individuals from this data.

The following data is logged:

IP address of the accessing computer

File name of the accessed file(s)

Date and time of access

Amount of data transferred

Status message relating to the retrieval

Information about the web browser used

The purpose of storing this data is to ensure the security of our website and to be able to recognise and track attacks on our website or their misuse.

Cookies

Our website uses ‘cookies’ (small files stored in your browser) and similar technologies to provide its services and help collect data. Among other things, cookies allow us to store preferences and settings; simplify log-in; provide interest-based advertising; combat fraud; and analyse how our website and online services work.

The information that a cookie contains is determined by the web server and then stored on the respective computer when our website is accessed. These cookies are allocated a lifespan by the web server, which means that the cookies are automatically deleted from the respective end device once this lifespan has expired. However, settings can also be made in the browser software so that cookies are always deleted when the browser is closed.

Cookies are necessary in order to be able to clearly assign the visits to our websites, which is necessary for the provision of certain functionalities, such as the login function in particular. If no cookies are to be stored on the respective end device, this can be specified in the browser settings and storage can thus be prevented.

Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal message by e-mail to us. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Vimeo

We use the provider Vimeo, among others, for the integration of videos. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC, headquartered at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011.

When you call up the website of our Internet presence provided with such a function – for example the ‘Media’ page – a connection to the Vimeo servers is established and the video is displayed. This tells the Vimeo server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in to Vimeo as a member, Vimeo assigns this information to your personal user account. When using the function, e.g. clicking on the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your Vimeo user account before using our website and deleting the corresponding cookies from Vimeo.

Further information on data processing and information on data protection by Vimeo can be found at Privacy of Vimeo.
