Stiga: Efficient Steam Production for Industry
Polytechnik solutions are making a real difference to the energy landscape in the Baltic region. With over 20 plants already in operation, we are pleased to announce the successful commissioning of two more: one for Adven in Valmiera, Latvia, and one for Stiga, a veneered panel manufacturer. These projects are a prime example of Polytechnik's commitment to providing sustainable energy solutions that reduce CO₂ emissions.
The project for Stiga features a 12 MW saturated steam boiler that supplies steam for production purposes. Polytechnik’s combustion technology (PolyCombustion) enables the use of wood waste from production, saving around 100,000 MWh of CO₂ emissions annually.
Particularly impressive is the extremely compact design of the plant, which takes up only 240 m² of space. In order to meet these strict requirements, the plans had to be specially adapted.
Success across the board
A thoroughly successful outcome! Thanks to the timely and even early completion of both projects, as well as the high level of customer satisfaction, we are looking to the future with optimism.
